Isn't it funny how the many twists and turns of life often lead you back to where you once began?

As a teenager, I was fascinated by psychology and yet life, as it does, led me down different paths. After years of working in teaching (everything from preschool special education to high school Shakespeare), motherhood and navigating my own mental health challenges, I have found my way back home.

After practicing yoga throughout my life, and experiencing many of the healing benefits it can provide, I decided to switch careers and take the plunge into unchartered waters. At the age of 42, I attended yoga teacher training with the intention of incorporating yogic principals into the treatment of mental health disorders and shortly after, received my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University.

While on this journey, I've discovered that my passion lies in the treatment of trauma, mood and personality disorders. Utilizing a combination of talk therapy and body-based interventions, we can work together to heal your deepest wounding from the inside out. As it has been said- the only way out is through.

In my free time, I love to read, belly dance, travel, experience as much live music as possible, and can be found seeking solace and soul healing along the saltwater shore and in the wild woods of Washington.
